one who makes stringed musical instruments.
I'd love to build one for you.
I picked up an ukulele years ago and haven't looked back. I am a church musician (retired now) and found the ukulele to be an exciting avenue of music ministry. After playing a bit, I looked around for a more advanced instrument. There were many choices available, but not "exactly" what I was looking for. In my internet search, I came across a wonderful guitar and ukulele builder, Jay Lichty. I even had the pleasure of meeting him at his shop in North Carolina. After talking with him, I decided to give it a shot and build one for myself. That was the beginning of my luthier experience. I took advantage of the insightful teaching video series that Jay offers. You will see a strong influence of his style and look in my instruments. I encourage you to check him out too.

Many players fall into the category in which I find myself...an intermediate/advanced player with a desire to own an advanced instrument. So, now that I have built many instruments, I am excited to offer folks the option of a very fine professional quality CUSTOM BUILT instrument for a very good price.
